Liam Gallagher hat nach der Trennung von Oasis neue Bandpläne – mit den ehemaligen Mitgliedern von Oasis. Mit Gitarrist Gem Archer, Bassist Andy Bell und Schlagzeuger Chris Sharrock arbeitet er bereits an neuen Songs für die noch namenlose neue Band. Der einzige der nicht mit von der Partie ist, ist Bruder Noel. In einem italienischen Radiointerview gab Liam bekannt, dass die neue Band bereits bald auf der Bühne stehen wird. Auch zur Trennung von Oasis äußerte sich Liam im Interview nochmals: “Um ehrlich zu sein denke ich, dass Noel raus wollte”. Die Streits zwischen den Brüdern seinen immer da gewesen und kein Grund für eine Trennung. Er glaube, Noel hat einfach einen Grund gesucht, sich endgültig von der Band zu lösen.
