Und nein, wir reden nicht von medientauglichen Presseauftritten, sondern von ihrem Part in einem echten Spielfilm. Beim 21. Palm Springs International Film Festival im Januar wird die Sängerin für ihre Rolle im Film “Precious”, in dem sie eine Sozialarbeiterin spielt, den “Breakthrough Performance Award” erhalten.
